Who will win the upcoming heavyweight title rematch between WBA/WBO/WBC lineal world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury? Will it be a repeat of Usyk's performance? Or will Fury be able to get his revenge? That is a big question that is being asked and it is not easy to answer.
Their first fight in May was a very competitive bout that resulted in a very narrow split decision win for Usyk. Judge Mike Fitzgerald and Manuel Oliver Palomo scored the fight for Usyk, 114-113 and 115-112; second judge Craig Metcalfe scored it 114-113 in favor of Fury.
Using their first fight as an indication of how things might play out in the rematch, what did we learn from the first fight? What can Fury do differently? What things worked for Fury in their first fight, and what things did he do that didn't work? What can Usyk do differently? What adjustments can Usyk make in the rematch and what things can he do to help neutralize the things that worked for Fury in their first fight?
