Bukayosaka was fit for the game against Arsenal at Crystal Palace after rehabbing his right hamstring.
The England international played just 24 minutes at Selhurst Park, replacing Leandro Trossard.
Arsenal scored their third goal in the opening game when Sarkar was injured when he crossed from the right. He immediately raised his hand in the air, signaled to the bench, and grabbed his right leg. He left after receiving medical treatment.

His cross was turned in by Gabriel Jesus at the far post and Saka gave Arsenal the lead.
Ismaila Sarr equalized after 11 minutes, but Arsenal regained the lead when Jesus, who scored a hat-trick in the EFL Cup in midweek, scored again from a partially clear corner.
Jean-Philippe Mateta should have made it 2-2, but some sloppy play by William Saliba saw David Raya take his shot.
