Arsenal set a new English league record during their time 5-1 thrashing of Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday.
For the second time in four days, Arsenal beat their south London foes, after their midweek Victory in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup with an emphatic triumph in the Premier League. It was a much-needed win for the Gunners, who had drawn their previous two league games.

Saturday's win over Palace was the final away game of 2024 for Arsenal, who close the year by welcoming Ipswich Town to the Emirates Stadium on December 27. The Gunners' first away trip of 2025 comes against Brentford on New Year's Day.
However, the victory at Selhurst Park was not without its flaws Bukayo Saka has suffered a worrying thigh injury during the first half of the match.
