He scored two goals for Salah when he was leading Spurs.

Mohamed Salah scored twice in eight minutes as Liverpool beat Tottenham Hotspur to move four points clear at the top of the Premier League and leave bottom side Spurs.

Luis Diaz and Alexis Mac Allister scored Dominik Szoboszlai's header from Salah's cross towards the end of the first half, and James Maddison restored the visitors' two-goal lead after a reply from the area.

Salah, who had crossed the goalless goal, fired twice from close range, but Dejan Kululevsky fired from close range for Spurs, who have taken one point from their last four home games.

Dominic Solanke's finish put the home side ahead of a highly entertaining contest, only for Diaz to tap in Salah's cross for the third goal after three games.

Liverpool led the table for the first time since 2020/21 at Christmas, but the 2019/20 season saw them win the title just seven times in the last 7 games.
