Series of 3 ODIs between Pakistan and South Africa started in Paarl. Saim Ayub's stellar 109 and Salman Ali Agha's all-round performance, taking 4 wickets and 82 runs, propelled Pakistan to 240 runs with three balls to spare.
In the Cape Town ODI, the Pakistan batting set a stout target of 330 for South Africa. Rizwan scored 80, Babar 73 and Kamran Ghulam 63 off 32 were the architect of the defensive target. The bowling unit led by Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah restricted South Africa to 248. Shaheen's 4-wicket haul and Naseem Shah's 3-wicket haul helped Pakistan to an 81-run victory.
The final and third ODI was played in Johannesburg. Saim Ayub shines with a classy century. Debutant Sufiyan Muqeem's 4-wicket haul of 52 runs rocked the South African batting order. This overall team effort by the men in green led to a historic 36-run victory via the DLS method at the Proteas ground.
