Past Chelsea defender William Gallas has named La Liga sides Real Madrid and Barcelona as the only two teams who could lure Cole Palmer away from Stamford Bridge.
Palmer, 22, has proved to be a transformational signing for the Blues since arriving in 2023 from Manchester City in a move worth up to £42.5m. He helped his team emerge as Premier League champions this season.
The left-footed attacking midfielder has started all 16 of his league appearances for Chelsea so far this season. He found the way to the opponent's goal 11 times and had 6 assists in 1,392 minutes played for his club.
Speaking to betting website Prime Casino recently, Disadvantages Palmer's current contract expires in June 2033. He elaborated (h/t Metro):
“At the moment, I think only Real Madrid and Barcelona can take Cole Palmer away from Chelsea. I think he will develop his football in Spain. It could be three seasons in the future, but I don't think Chelsea fans should hope for either. clubs are coming for him soon.”
Palmer, who won the 2023-24 Premier League Young Player of the Season award, is expected to feature next Sunday (December 22). He is expected to start Chelsea's Premier League match against Everton at Goodison Park.

“Blues” striker Nicholas Jackson has announced that he is close to joining Aston Villa During the 2022-23 season. The Senegalese said (h/t Tribal Football):
“When Unai (Emery) left Villarreal, he wanted me to go to Aston Villa, but I was injured. I should have gone, but I injured my knee. We went there, they checked me and they said I need another month and if they wanted me now, in a week, two weeks I wasn't ready, so they had to cancel the transfer and when I came back I was very upset.”
After registering 13 goals and 5 assists in 38 total games for Villarreal in the 2022-23 season, Jackson made a £32 million move to the Blues in 2023.
Jackson, 23, has so far made 54 of his 60 appearances in all competitions for Enzo Maresca's outfit. The right-footed number nine scored 26 goals and provided nine assists in 4,755 minutes of action for the Blues.
