Indian national cricket team captain Rohit Sharma along with senior batsman Virat Kohli were not happy with the attendance of fans at the team's practice sessions. According to reports in RevSportz, it is learned that both the senior players have expressed their disappointment with the demands of the fans.
The Indian National Cricket Team has piled up some yards ahead of the fourth match of the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The Boxing Day match between the teams will be played on Thursday (December 26) at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne.
The Indian National Cricket Team is undergoing intensive training sessions in Melbourne
The Indian National Cricket Team is undergoing intense training sessions in Melbourne as they aim for victory in the fourth Test of the series. The focus, in particular, will be on two of the team's senior players, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who have been given a massive boost.
Looks like Rohit and Kohli have looked pretty solid in the nets. They have ticked almost all the boxes correctly and are ensuring that they are leaving no stone unturned in their preparations for the next match of the series which will be a decider of the virtual series.
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were unhappy with the fans who were shouting and demanding certain shots from them in the nets.
However, both the stalwarts of the Indian national cricket team felt uncomfortable during the practice session. That was because they were unhappy with the way some of the fans turned up to watch the nets at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne.
Reports claimed that fans were clamoring and demanding certain photos from Rohit and Virat. This did not go down well with the two seniors of the team who expressed their disappointment over the same.

The Indian team, after the first Test in Perth, closed the gates to the fans. This happened because the fans abused some players, who complained about the same, and hence the Rohit Sharma-led team trained behind closed doors, but the fans were present at the MCG.
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have not been at their best in Tests
Coming to the form of Rohit and Kohli, both batsmen have not been at their best in the longest format of the game. The Indian captain looked torrid with the bat as he managed just 19 runs in the two games he played while batting in the middle order.
On the other hand, Virat Kohli started the Australia tour on a high as he smashed a classy century in Perth. But after that he struggled to get going and managed just 26 runs in the next two games he played, getting bowled out.
Both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be keen to step up for the team in the final two games. If the Indian national cricket team is to fancy their chances of winning the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy, they would want both their senior players to bring their A-game.
