Bayer Leverkusen have contacted Chelsea defender Axel Disasi over a possible January move tRANSFERsays a report.
Disasi looks set to be Enzo Maresca's fifth-choice centre-back, behind Levi Colwill, Wesley Fofana, Benoit Badiashile and Tosin Adarabioyo in the pecking order, and has managed just four Premier League appearances this season.
According to Sky Sports SwitzerlandDisasi is frustrated with his limited role and is now considering leaving Chelsea in January to rekindle his career.
His situation is said to have caught the eye of Bayer Leverkusen, who have managed to discuss a winter move as they sweat over the potential departure of captain Jonathan Tah, who is entering the final six months of his contract and has already made it clear he would not sign an extension.
Disasi is also attracting interest from Juventus, but the Serie A side will only be able to offer an initial loan deal – something that may not be of interest to Chelsea.
Maresca, for his part, has stressed his desire to keep every player in the squad, but admitted those fighting for minutes have to decide if they are happy to continue fighting for their future.
