It will be Barnes' second extended absence of the season after missing 11 straight games between Oct. 30 and Nov. 18 due to an earlier orbital fracture. He is the leader of the team and Toronto is struggling to string together wins without him. The Raptors went 2-9 during his previous absence. They are currently 14th in the East with a 7-18 record.

Aside from Barnes, Toronto will not be participating Bruce Brown (knee) and Immanuel Quickley (left elbow) Thursday.
