Liverpool continue their hunt for the Premier League title on Boxing Day when they welcome Leicester City to Anfield.
The penultimate outing of the calendar year offers Liverpool the opportunity to pull further away from chasers Chelsea and Arsenal, with recent form suggesting the Reds will not only enjoy victory on Thursday but add to the tally.
Arne Slot has almost a fully fit squad to choose from for the visit of the Foxes and Sunday's 6-3 demolition of Tottenham Hotspur will have further boosted confidence levels in the red half of Merseyside.
Here's his Liverpool could line up on Boxing Day.
GK: Alisson – The Brazilian was relatively untroubled against Tottenham at the weekend but still managed to concede three times. A clean sheet is much more likely against Leicesterwho have remained empty in the last two matches.
RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold – Some of Alexander-Arnold's passes in north London were simply sensational. The right-back assisted Liverpool's opener with a pinpoint cross and impressed with his sharp long-range delivery.
CB: Joe Gomez – Like Alisson, there wasn't much Gomez did wrong against Spurs despite sending three. He impressed against a talented and ruthless Tottenham attack.
CB: Virgil van Dijk – No one took more shots than the Liverpool captain last time out, with Van Dijk never having a dribble in the capital. He will relish a battle with familiar foe Jamie Vardy on Thursday, with the Leicester striker having scored ten in 17 against the Reds.
LB: Kostas Tsimikas – Andy Robertson's performance levels have come under scrutiny this season and the 30-year-old could be rested in favor of Tsimikas. The Greek defender played the second half of Liverpool's recent Carabao Cup victory over Southampton after previously being injured.
DM: Ryan Gravenberch – Leicester's most creative influences lie in attacking midfield, with Bilal El Khannous and Facundo Buonanotte both threatening at Anfield. Gravenberch will be tasked with suffocating them.
DM: Alexis McAllister – Mac Allister scored his third goal of the season against Spurs, doubling Liverpool's lead with an opportunistic header. The Argentine midfielder could pull the strings from deep against Leicester.
RW: Mohamed Salah – The Egyptian received his surprise Premier League 15 goals and 11 assists in 16 games against Tottenham. It was another breathless performance from the Liverpool talisman.
AM: Dominik Szoboszlai – Szoboszlai has often blown hot and cold, but he was scorching against Spurs. He had a hand in four of Liverpool's six goals and made some impressive runs across the touchline.
LW: Luis Diaz – Diaz ended his nine-goal drought for club and country in style at the weekend, bagging a well-taken brace to open and close the scoring. With a possible rotation on Thursday, the Colombian could be moved to left-back after starting up front against Spurs.
ST: Diego Jota – After three appearances from the bench, Jota could be fit enough to start for Liverpool against the Foxes. If he does, the clinical Portuguese will be licking his lips at the prospect of wreaking havoc for the second most leaky defense in the division.
