Former Indian national cricket team player MS Dhoni has donned the avatar of Santa Claus and taken the internet by storm. The Chennai Super Kings wicketkeeper-batsman was spotted celebrating Christmas with his family on Wednesday (December 25).
Dhoni, after retiring from international cricket in 2020, has a lot of time to spend with his family. The former Indian national cricket team captain was often seen celebrating occasions with his family as his viral pictures set the internet on fire.
The same thing happened on Christmas day when MS Dhoni turned into Santa during a party. The Chennai Super Kings batsman was seen having a healthy moment with his wife and daughter Ziva as the family celebrated the festival in a grand way.
In the pictures shared by Sakshi Dhoni on her Instagram account, MS Dhoni can be seen giving her daughter a warm hug and sharing gifts with her. The family were dressed in classic red and white for Christmas as the pictures went viral on social media.
Sakshi shared five pictures but the best of them was the last one where Dhoni is seen hugging his daughter Ziva in a warm and loving hug. Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon also shared a picture of 'Santa' Dhoni on her Instagram.

MS Dhoni to return to the cricket field in the next edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL)
While Dhoni is enjoying his time with his family, the time to see him in action is slowly ticking away. The wicketkeeper-batsman will be back on the cricket field during the next edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) to be played in March, April and May next year as he will once again don the CSK outfit.
Dhoni made himself available to play in the IPL and was subsequently retained by Chennai Super Kings for ₹4 crore in the uncapped category. It is fair to say that IPL 2025 will be the last time the wicketkeeper-batsman will be seen in action on the cricket field.

Dhoni has been a stalwart in the IPL as he is the main reason behind Chennai Super Kings' success in the league. The wicket-keeper-batsman is the best finisher to have played the game of cricket as he single-handedly won many games for his team while batting down the order.
In terms of captaincy, MS Dhoni is the most successful captain in the history of the Indian League. The wicketkeeper-batsman led Chennai Super Kings to five IPL titles before stepping down as the team's leader in 2023.
He handed over the Chennai Super Kings captaincy to Ruturaj Gaikwad and will play under a young batsman this year as well.
