BBL 2024-25: Nick Hobson shines as Perth Scorchers cruise to a 33-run win over Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash League



The Perth Scorchers provided medical care to prevent a a complete 33-run victory above the Brisbane heat in the 12th Big Bash League (BBL) 2024-25 match at Perth Stadium on Thursday (December 26). Under the floodlights, the Scorchers showed exceptional teamwork, and Nick Hobson emerging as Player of the Match for his unbeaten 47 from 16 balls and two game-changing catches. Despite the Heat's best efforts, their chase of 166 runs ended in disappointment as they were bowled out for 132 in 19.4 overs.
