Memphis Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant's status was up in the air for Thursday's marquee matchup against the Golden State Warriors. The point guard was previously questionable for this game, but will be available before the game.
according to The Grizzlies injury report, back pain. Morant has been dealing with the ailment since Dec. 8 after initially injuring his hip on Nov. 7. He lost to the LA Lakers 116-110 on Sunday.

If Morant is out, Scottie Pippen Jr. will replace him in the starting lineup. His absence would be a significant blow to the Grizzlies. Morant has been in great form as of late, averaging 23.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 7.3 assists in December, along with multiple 30-point games.
