Terry McLaurie's fantasy projection for Week 16
For a while it looked like the Kliff Kingsbury effect was going to catch up with him Washington commanders in the second half of the season. After an amazing start, led by rookie Jayden Daniels, the Chiefs offense has faltered and many have questioned whether the league has figured them out anymore.
A 42-19 victory over the Tennessee Titans in Week 13 put those notions to bed, but a close 20-19 victory over the New Orleans Saints once again raised some old questions.
For his part, Terry McLaurin made a bit of history in a Week 15 win over New Orleans by becoming the first Washington receiver with a double-digit touchdown season since Gary Clark (1991). McLaurin finished the evening catching seven of his 10 targets for 73 yards and two touchdowns. It marked his second week with multiple points, his fourth this season.
At this point, the volume is clear and McLaurin is essentially a testament to the fit in this offense.
Keenan Allen's fantasy projection for Week 16
Terry McLaurin is a misfit Chicago Bears wide receiver Keenan Allen. The Bears take on the Detroit Lions this week, and even if the NFC's top dogs are dealing with a lot of injuries on defense, we're not exactly excited about this matchup.
On Monday night, Allen hit a season-high 155 receiving yards, marking his sixth triple-digit receiving yardage performance this year. However, Allen failed to impress in a Week 13 loss to the Lions.
It's hard to bet on any Bears receiver at this point. Caleb Williams The likes of Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels showed no signs of improvement when they shouldered much of the offense when called upon. The match is not good, the attack is unsuccessful. We recommend staying away from Allen this week.
Sportskeeda Start/Site Optimizer He agrees, predicting a 12.7-point gain for McLaurin.
