In the 14th game a Big Bash League 2024-25 (BBL) between Melbourne Stars and Sydney ThunderCricket fans were very interested in bowling Usama Mir. The right leg bowler from the Melbourne Stars made the break in the 6th hour of the Sydney Thunder's innings, getting out. Cameron Bancroft and Oliver Davies in consecutive submissions, setting the tone for the tournament at Manuka Oval in Canberra.

The ball bounced hard, forcing Davies to mistime a shot that circled in the air. In a stunning performance, Mir dived to his right to complete a stunning dismissal. Davies was sent back to claim a golden duck, leaving Sydney Thunder stunned. The moment almost slipped away as the ball wobbled slightly in Mir's hands, but he persevered, sealing his magic “two-two”.

Despite falling back thanks to Mir's brilliance, Sydney Thunder managed to score 182/8 in 20 overs, thanks to some terrific knocks by the wicketkeeper-batter. Sam Billings. The Englishman smashed 72 off 39 balls, which included four fours and two long sixes at a staggering 184.62. Billings Thunder provided the backbone to the Thunder's performance, setting a tough target of 183 runs to the Melbourne Stars. In reply, Stars managed to reach 164/8, losing the game by 18 runs.
