Luke Littler has told fans he is ready to face Ian White in the third round of the PDC World Darts Championship on Saturday.
Hours before he returned after a week-long holiday, Littler described his Christmas celebrations as “quality”.
The 17-year-old, who is the bookies' favorite for the title behind champion Luke Humphries, added: “Now is the time to start again.”

Becoming the first Rockets player to surpass one million followers on Instagram, Littler now has over 1.4 million fans on the platform.
The sports sensation released a photo of herself appearing on Tuesday's special edition of the Bullseye TV show.
Promoting the episode, which aired on Christmas Day, Littler found himself on screen alongside former England cricketer Freddie Flintoff.
“You can never get enough javelin on TV; That's for sure,” he said. “Loved being a part of the Bullseye Christmas special … Merry Christmas, everyone.”

Littler's battle with White, the big underdog, is expected to start after 9:30pm GMT on Saturday 28 December 2024.
The 54-year-old world number 57 claimed he regularly beat Littler's grandfather Phil during his youth at the sport in Runcorn, where Littler was born.
World No. 15 Chris Dobey takes on Josh Rock, three places below him, in the first match of the evening at London's Alexandra Palace, starting at 7pm.
Three-time champion Michael Van Gerwen took center stage immediately ahead of Littler and White, meeting Brandon Dolan.
Littler reached the stage of the tournament on December 21 with a 3–1 win over England's Ryan Meikle.
