Team India's pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah was at his best with the ball on the fourth day of the ongoing fourth Test match against Australia. Jasprit Bumrah picked up the wicket of Australian batsman Alex Carey with a sensational delivery in Australia's second innings in Melbourne.
The Indian seamers made early progress by dismissing Australia's openers cheaply on Sunday, December 29. Jasprit Bumrah dismissed Sam Konstas while Mohammed Siraj dismissed Usman Khawaja. Australia pushed their lead to over 150 runs despite losing two early wickets in the morning session on Day 4.

The incident occurred on the last ball of Australia's 36th over. Jasprit Bumrah bowled a good length in the channel and slipped back after the pitch. Alex Carey looked to punch it through the covers but was beaten on the inside edge. The ball went through the gap of the bat-pad to hit the off-stump.
