Because of the unusual celebration of Head
The real reason for Head's excitement became apparent later in the game as India's second innings progressed. Channel 7 commentator James Brayshaw he provided the rationale behind the out-of-the-box celebration from the part-time bowler. After taking 4/10 in 2022 against Sri Lanka, Head joked that he was needed 'put a number on ice' after his amazing magic. Brayshaw argued that it was a reminder of the spell back then as Head was wicketless before the match in Test cricket. His helper, Greg Blewett he also did not know about the festival, as he said, “I had no idea what this was, but good work from the backroom team to find out.”
Heading has proved to be the most effective form of bowling apart from his batting. The South Australian has taken 14 wickets and bowled 11 maiden overs in his Test career so far. The middle-order batsman didn't help his team to a big batting success at the MCG, but a good catch would have given him redemption.
