India are struggling to keep the game going amid the Australian bowling prowess
The final day of the Boxing Day Test started with Australia's last two at the crease and Jasprit Bumrah getting the wicket of Lyon to complete another 5-wicket haul. India needed 340 runs to win on Day 5. In reply, Rohit Sharma failed to leave the mark with the bat again and was caught in the slip by Mitchell Marsh. Wickets continued to pile up for India in quick succession as both India's top and middle order batted in front of the Australian bowlers. Jaiswal was the only one who tried to resist with the batting as his 84-run knock off 208 balls kept the Indian hopes alive. His dismissal after a controversial decision was a further boost to Australia's position in the game. In the end, Australia won the tournament by 184 runs and took a 2-1 lead in the five-match series.
