Chelsea's release clause to bring in the South American star in January


Chelsea are believed to have triggered the clause to end centre-back Aaron Anselmino's loan spell with Boca Juniors early.

The Blues agreed a deal to sign 19-year-old Anselmino in the summer for a fee of £15m, with the highly-rated defender returning to Boca on a loan that would run until the summer of 2025.

However, the German Garcia Grova UNITED Chelsea have triggered a clause that allows them to break Anselmino's loan in January and bring the teenager to Europe immediately.

Chelsea are reportedly keen for Anselmino to gain experience in European football as soon as possible, although the specific plan for the young Argentine remains to be seen.

He could stay with Enzo Maresca's senior side, or go out on loan sister Strasbourg in France can be pursued if one of the existing loan agreements is terminated.
