Australia scored a victory of 184 in the 4th Test against India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, taking a 2-1 lead in the five-match series with a superb performance in batting and bowling. After setting a huge target of 340 runs for India in the last innings, the Australian bowlers did well, reducing India to 155 in their second innings.

Australia posted a mammoth 474 in their first innings, led by a brilliant 60 from the over Konstas himself and well-made 57 from Usman Khawaja. Australia's second innings fell short and were restricted to 234, with a solid 70 from Labuschagne. Bumrah also played a major role, taking five wickets. Despite a limited offering, Australia's total was close to India's chase on the final day. But their chase turned out to be an uphill task.
Australian bowlers, led by Pat Cumminshe was tireless. Cummins finished with three wickets in India's second innings, and Boland and Lyon also played important roles in the collapse. On the final day, the Indian batting line-up is up against a determined Australian threat. While Jaiswal scored a brave 84, wickets fell regularly. Cummins led the innings with precision, and Boland contributed well, resulting in India being dismissed for 155, 184 runs behind the target.
