Real Madrid “think they can get what they want”, says Gary Neville, who has insulted Liverpool about Trent Alexander-Arnold.

“If you've got a big game going and you're a local boy, it's not going to be easy with all the noise. Real Madrid is hell.
“I think that this behavior is an insult to Real Madrid. I think sometimes they act like that and get what they want.”

Hole: Alexander-Arnold 'didn't have best game'
Who came to United? 23 points away from 13 places at the top of the standings. Both sides scored goals, focusing most of their attacks on the flank of right-back Alexander-Arnold.
The 26-year-old England international was replaced by Amad Diallo four minutes later when Connor Bradley equalized with United's second goal in four minutes.
“Trent has played a lot of good games for this club, but there have been games when he hasn't been at his best,” Liverpool manager Anislo said.
“It wasn't his best game today, but that also applies to (United). The same applies to Bruno Fernandes, who is a very good player and plays well.
“Daniel, what's the problem… it's a waffle” 😨

“(Diogo) Dalot is a threat on the left. It is not easy to prevent dangerous situations.
“Especially in the first half. Sometimes it was a 2-v-1 situation because Ryan (Gravenberch) wasn't close enough to (Alexander-Arnold). I would consider the quality of Dalot and Bruno Fernandes more than Trent.”
Take Madrid 'Mickey'
Former Three Lions right-back Neville said the comments would not help Alexander-Arnold. “Liverpool are a great club and they will never sell him for £20m in January,” he said.
“You're taking the mickey a little bit. I think it's going to drive him crazy. You can imagine his family and his agents saying, 'What's going on, Trent?'”
Alexander Arnold played 24 Premier League games and 22 Champions League games for Liverpool in 2024/25.
