Robbie Keane has been appointed head coach at Hungarian champions Ferencvaros.
Liverpool, aged 44; The former Leeds and Tottenham striker won the title in Israel last season with Maccabi Tel Aviv and now has new challenges in Europe.
He replaces Pascal Jansen, who moved to coach New York City FC, with Ferencvaros second in the table after 16 games.

The club's official website said: “We have announced the successor to Dutchman Pascal Jansen to lead our 35-time champions and 24-time cup winners, signing 146-time Republic of Ireland international Robbie Keane. Monday.
“The new coach arrived in Budapest on Sunday evening and will leave on Tuesday to join our team at the training camp in Spain.”
Keane moved into coaching in 2018 as player-manager at ATK in India, serving as assistant to Ireland manager Mick McCarthy during his second spell in charge and later taking on the same role at Middlesbrough under former Spurs team-mate Jonathan Woodgate.
He is a member of Sam Allardyce's staff as he has been offered his autonomy by Maccabi as he unsuccessfully tries to escape the prospect of relegation from the Premier League at the end of the 2022-23 season.
His first game was against Eintracht Frankfurt on January 23 in the Europa League.
