Afghanistan team captain Hashmatullah Shahidi praised the team's efforts. “First of all, thank you to the whole team, we are very happy with how we have done. Coming back after a tough first day was great, but mentally this will make us even stronger. Rahmat, Ismat and Rashid's performance was excellent,” he said in the post-game presentation.
