The former Chelsea coach returns to the football world with a PFA position.


Graham Porter may be the hot favorite to take charge of Premier League club West Ham, but the former Chelsea and Brighton boss has a new role in football.

Potter, 49, has been out of the game since he left his role at Stamford Bridge in April 2023.

Potter has become co-director of a graduate course in football psychology run by the Professional Footballers Association.

The course helps students develop leadership skills and is a specialized course for coaches and managers.

“Education has helped me become a better person and a better player,” Potter said.

Potter made his name as coach at Swedish club Ostersund, Swansea, Coached at Brighton and Chelsea.
