West Ham cancels press conference as Lopetegui looks to leave.

West Ham have canceled their press conference this afternoon, with Julen Lopetegui looking increasingly likely to be sacked.

The Spaniard only took charge at the London Stadium in May but started the season in 14th place in the Premier League table with the Hammers.

Lopetegui was scheduled to appear in front of the media today to preview Friday's FA Cup third-round tie against Aston Villa, but the club announced this morning that he would not be going ahead.

Graham Porter is the favorite to take over, with the former Chelsea boss reportedly holding several talks with the West Ham board.

According to The Daily Mail, the east London club want to sign Porter on a short-term deal until the end of the season, while the 49-year-old wants a longer-term deal.

There is also the possibility of West Ham signing Sean Dyche from Everton, who are mulling over Sean Dyche's future after being taken over by the Friedkin Group.

Christophe Galtier has emerged as a potential option should Potter head to Merseyside.

The former Paris Saint-Germain boss is currently in charge of Al Duhail in Qatar but is keen on a move to the Premier League.
