Schedule, Teams, Format & Broadcast

The countdown is finally coming to an end for the Women's Ashes 2025. England Women are on a mission to end their 12-year wait for the Ashes trophy against Australia. The multi-format series kicks off on January 12

Women's Ashes 2025 format

Grace of Women 2025 will follow a new format. The one-off Test match will end the series instead of opening it. The iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) will host the final match of the series. This will be the first women's Test at the MCG since 1949.

The Test will be a four-day day-night affair, bringing a unique challenge for both teams under the lights. It also celebrates the 90th anniversary of the first women's Test match, making it a historic occasion in more ways than one.

The Women's Ashes 2025 will follow the same points system as before. A Test match carries four points, while each T20I and ODI win is worth two points. Nine points is the magic number to take home the grace. If it ends in a draw? Australia retain the trophy.
