Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has confirmed that captain Kyle Walker has asked to leave the club.
Walker, 34, was left out of City's squad for Saturday 8-0 FA Cup win over Salford.
Speaking after the game, Guardiola said: “I would like to explore another country to play my last years, for many reasons. And for that reason, I preferred to play other players.”
Walker joined City from Tottenham in a £50m deal in 2017.
