The same thing happened in the 15th over of the Sydney Sixers' innings when Andrew Tye of Perth Schorchers was playing football. Tye delivered a wide ball outside the off stump, and Smith, with good timing and precision, opened his face at the last minute, guiding the ball deep behind for a 74-metre six. This shot was very interesting—one that looked easy but was very difficult to kill. The crowd erupted as Smith showed his class and composure, creating a shot that perfectly covered his shot.

Sydney Sixers, asked to bat first, managed 220/3 in the allotted 20 overs.
