The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025 on Sunday, January 12. Najmul Hossain Shanto will lead Bangladesh in the next prestigious tournament, which will begin on February 19, 2025.
Bangladesh ace Shakib Al Hasan has been overlooked for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025 as the Tigers decided to go with young blood. Notably, former captain Tamim Iqbal is not part of the squad as he has retired from international cricket.
However, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mushfiqur Rahim, Taskin Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahman dropped out of the 15-man squad led by Najmul Hossain Shanto.
