Fallon Sherrock and Beau Greaves require strong final days at Q-School to earn PDC Tour Cards after failing to secure those on Saturday.
Greaves, 21, failed to score a single point in the first two days of the Q-School in Milton Keynes, but in Saturday's quarter-final race she finished 17th on the Order of Merit and got into the mix.
Sherrock endured a disappointing third day when she crashed out early in the final 64 – losing 6-3 to eventual finalist Adam Paxton – and failed to add a single extra point, dropping her to 23rd on the Order of Merit. She may need at least a semifinal race on Sunday to earn a Tour Card.
Greaves meanwhile beat Josh Payne, Lewis Pride, Steve Hine and Cam Crabtree before losing 6-3 to Darryl Pilgrim in the final.
Tavis Dudeney and Dennie Olde Kalter were the players to secure PDC Tour Cards on Saturday – both for the first time – after winning the penultimate day of action at the 2025 Qualifying Schools.
On day three, the 20-year-old Dudeney broke new ground with an impressive 6-4 win against Paxton.
The Brighton-born star – the latest product of the Junior Darts Corporation system to cross over to the PDC ProTour – turned in a staggering 126 checkouts to topple Paxton in a high-quality affair, after outlasting Scotland's Greg Ritchie in a dramatic semi-final clash.
Meanwhile, Olde Kalter beat Swedish World Cup quarter-finalist Oskar Lukasiak 6-4 to clinch a place on the ProTour for the next two years with success at the European Qualifying School.
Sunday will offer the last chance for players to win Tour Cards, with play starting at 12pm in Milton Keynes.
In addition to the daily Tour Card winners, a further 21 Tour Cards will be awarded on a pro-rata basis to players from the respective orders for the final stage after day four – 12 in Europe and nine in the UK.
Bradley Brooks and Cor Dekker secured their tours via respective Orders of Merit on Sunday's fourth day of action in the final stage.
