Talking about the results of the match, Joburg Super Kings won by six runs against MI Cape Town through the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method in the face of rain. The match was interrupted several times by rain, which reduced MI Cape Town's chase to 136 in 19 overs.
