The West Indian batsmen were quick to rush in and time the ball well, driving it over mid-wicket for a massive six. The powerful hit left the onlookers in awe as Hetmyer's big stroke showcased his batting skills and advanced the Gulf Giants' run. Hetmyer smashed two more boundaries to eventually take 16 runs from the over.

Gulf Giants puts all the odds
In a thrilling encounter, Gulf Giants posted a competitive 174/7 in their 20 overs against Sharjah Warriorz. The Giants' innings was built around big contributions from Rehan Ahmed (46 minus 27 balls), Jordan Cox (38 from 32 balls), and a fiery one from Hetmyer, who scored 36 off just 23 balls.

In reply, Sharjah Warriorz chased down a target of 175 and finished in a nail-biting fashion, winning by three wickets. Tom Kohler-Cadmore he was a master of the chase, being unbeaten on 83 off 56 balls, including 6 fours and 4 sixes. He was well supported by Rohan Mustafawho scored a crucial 45 off 33 balls. Their partnership led to a thrilling victory for the Warriors, earning them their first win of the tournament.
