It's rare these days that veteran players argue about their actions during their careers. But Yograj SinghIndia's all-time champion and former World Cup winner Yuvraj Singhcaused a controversy by revealing what happened between him and Kapil Dev. The former Indian ambassador gave a negative reply to Yograj, without meeting him directly.
Kapil Dev refused to accept Yograj Singh
Dev, was seen arriving at an event and started a conversation with the media, who surrounded him and asked him to respond to Yograj's statement. The former World Cup winner deliberately seemed not to understand what the media wanted to ask.
“Who is he? Who is he? What are you talking about? (Who is he? Who is he? Who are you talking about? He asks Dev if he doesn't know Yograj. The paparazzi also told him that they were talking about Yuvraj's father Yograj, but Dev seemed to dodge the question.
But it seems that the conversation between the former Indian ambassador and the media came to a head when the questions were not addressed to Dev. He then ignores the mention of Yograj from the paparazzi and asks if he wants to ask something else from him.
“Aha, what about it? (Anything else)” was what Dev did when the media mentioned Yograj's name. Kapil and Yograj played together for several years. In 1977, the electorate chose Yograj on Dev on Indian U-22 team play against England in Nagpur. Yograj made his debut Indian Cricket Team in 1980 a trip to Australia and New Zealand. However, he was mysteriously dropped from the group after the tour. Yograj played his last ODI for India on 15 February 1981 against New Zealand.

What did Yograj Singh say?
In an interview with Samdish BhatiaA popular YouTuber who appears on the YouTube channel 'Unfiltered with Samdish,' Yograj spoke about his relationship with Dev.
“When Kapil Dev became the captain of India, North Zone, and Haryana, he left me without any reason. My wife wanted me to ask Kapil some questions. I told him that I will teach this bloody man a lesson,” Yograj said during an interview.
“I took out my gun; I went to Kapil's house in Sector 9. He came out with his mother. I insulted him many times. I told him because of you I have lost my friend and you will pay for what you have done. I told him, 'I want to put a bullet in your head, but I'm not going to because you have a very scared mother standing here.' I told Sabinamu, 'Let's go. she added, revealing what happened between her and Dev.
Yograj added that the two former India players have not met or been in touch since then. However, after India won the 2011 World Cup, Yograj sent a cut sheet to Dev and told him that his son (Yuvraj) had done better than Dev.
“Kapil sent me a message on WhatsApp that we will be brothers in one life. We will be born from the same mother in the next life. He wanted to meet me. But there is revenge, and it still hurts,” Yograj finished.
