Aaron Lennon believes Tottenham's players are unable to live up to Ange Postecoglou's lofty ideals.
Spurs have won just one of their last nine Premier League games as they lost 2-1 to Arsenal in last night's North London derby.
They sit 13th in the table with the pressure on. Postecoglou himself described their form as “unacceptable”..

The Australian has said he will not change his form despite being on the injury list, but Lennon says something has to give.
The former Spurs winger told the Football Daily Podcast: “It's a big problem. The team looked really upset (against Arsenal). The team is struggling with injuries, but this is a big problem.
“His approach is quick until 95 minutes, but it doesn't look like the Spurs players can keep up with that pace. It's a big problem. 1 out of nine Not enough at all.
“I think Arsenal are the better team. I don't think there's any sloppiness in it, but Arsenal fully deserved the win. But if this hadn't happened in the EFL Cup semi-final I think there would have been a lot of unrest in the camp now.”
Lennon asked to strengthen Paddy.
Lennon believes Spurs' season has slowed down and says they must strengthen in January to avoid being dragged into the relegation battle.
He said: “It (the injury) is 100 per cent a big factor. You're not talking about one or two fringe players; You're talking about your key players here. You're talking about your number one goalkeeper, your two center backs. (Destiny) Udogie out, Three of your back four are talking about your centre-backs, including your goalkeeper.
“This will affect any team, The boys who came in were brilliant. (Djed) Spence looks really good; I'm amazed at how well he's been doing these past few weeks. The interesting thing to see now is that Spurs are aiming to strengthen their squad in the January market.
“They need cover on their backs.” He showed me that there was no cover. Filled in by Archie Grey; He's not a centre-back, and he's not even a right-back. I think they are looking to dominate the central defense and possibly another striker.
“They showed this season that they need to strengthen the team.”
Next up for Tottenham is a trip to Goodison Park to face Everton on Sunday.
