SA20 2025 [WATCH]: Noor Ahmad bowls back to back stunners to dismiss Zak Crawley and Aiden Markram

In an impressive display of sleight of hand, Noor Ahmed has changed the power of SA20 2025 to argue between Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Durban Super Giants and back and forth Zak Crawley and Aiden Markram dismissal.

Noor Ahmad spins the net against Sunrisers Eastern Cape

First, Noor got the better of Zak Crawley, on the second ball of the 10th over, and unleashed a brilliant fly that dipped deceptively in mid-air. Crawley, who were in good form with 38 from 29 balls and batted quickly, fell forward but failed to get close to the ball. The delivery went over the edge and plowed through his middle stump, leaving Crawley looking stunned as Noor celebrated his victory.

Stepping up quickly, Noor produced another masterpiece to remove Markram on the next ball. At this point, the delivery was completely withdrawn and it came back more from the outside of the stump. Markram, in a desperate attempt to drive, was beaten wide as the ball left his pads. Although the initial complaints appeared to be frivolous, the review proved conclusive, revealing three reds for Pursuit of the Ball and sealing Markram's fate on the golden duck. The ball was shown hitting over middle stump and leg, emphasizing Noor's accuracy and control. The two wickets in consecutive games disrupted the Eastern Cape batting and showed Noor's ability to catch when under pressure.

Eastern Cape is struggling against the Durban Super Giants' bowling attack

After being elected to bat first, Eastern Cape started cautiously, and lost David Bedingham early 10. Crawley closed out the innings with a clear 38 off 29 balls, providing stability during the power rush. However, the Super Giants made a comprehensive comeback in the middle overs. Noor's brilliance turned things around in the 10th over as he dismissed Crawley and Markram for successive wickets. This win has left the Eastern Cape reeling at 75/3. Jordan Hermann tried to settle the innings but fell soon after, aided by another brilliant delivery from Noor. Although Tom Abell's resilient 47 not out, 'Super Giants' disciplined bowling – led by Noor's figures of 3 for 14 and aided by Naveen-ul-Haq – kept the Eastern Cape. At 117/4 in 15.1 overs, Eastern Cape need a late run to set up a competitive target.
