Richard Sherman knows Pete Carroll better than anyone. The former Seattle Seahawks cornerback and Carroll went to back-to-back Super Bowls in 2013 and 2014. To this day, Carroll has the only Super Bowl win in franchise history.
On Thursday's edition of “Up and Adams,” Sherman backed Carroll to correct any wrongdoings about the Bears, including one point he believes wasn't considered enough.

(0:11) “I think he's going to get the coaching job just because he's a culture builder,” Sherman said. “And I think everybody got used to this sweet mentality of the offensive genius, our defensive genius, and they forgot to build the team culture, and it's built with young quarterbacks.

“He's built with quarterbacks that people throw at. And he's had success building defenses. He's got all the pieces to be really successful.”
Of course, one could argue that with the Seahawks winning ten games this season under rookie head coach Mike McDonald, Carroll's exit is far from a hook for the organization. So if it comes to the Windy City, you might be wondering how it affects the Bears.
Explore what Pete Carroll needs to change about the Bears
A potential head coach will have a lot on his hands and not much time to pick it up. In addition to his primary duties, he will have to change the culture in the building and, as with the team, change everything he sees outside the organization from top to bottom in order to elevate the team. Seattle Seahawks.
If he were to be hired in January, then he would have to hire an offensive and defensive coordinator. Then he will have to hire additional position coaches.
After that, Pete Carroll will need to understand and deliver his recommendations for the NFL draft to general manager Ryan Poles. After that, he'll have to work through OTAs and make plans for training camp.
After doing all that, Carroll will have to figure out how to get to the players who make up the difference. At the same time, he needs to understand what works Caleb Williams and what not. Then he can start working on the scheme for the 2025 season.
This scheme could be his biggest contribution to the team and potentially his best hope to beat the Detroit Lions quickly. Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers in the divisional race.
Simply put, if hired, it will take Carroll a few months before he gets to the task of making tangential plans for the 2025-26 season. In other words, in 2025, Carroll can do anything.
Pete Carroll can reverse that trend Chicago Bears an offseason?
