Arsenal have appointed Renee Slegers as their permanent head coach.
Slegers has been in charge on an interim basis since October after Jonas Eidevall resigned.
The Women's Super League is in third place, seven points behind leaders Chelsea.
After a successful spell. Slegers will be hoping to restore the Gunners' dominance in women's football.
Speaking for the first time as permanent manager, she said: “I'm very happy to be sitting here now and we've decided together to go forward like this.
“What are the players doing? employees clubs I've seen it connect with fans as well. I actually made the decision that I wanted a job, so frankly, it was sudden. I came to serve at the club without much expectation. But as an interim period, it grew under my tenure. .

“You start looking at long-term things and seeing where the team is going as well as the connection with the fans.
“In the game against Manchester United where we didn't get three points, I only got one point,” he said. But we did really well and I think the fans are supporting us. I think that was an important moment for me, OK, Here is something we can create. There is something positive we can create. It grows during those months.
“Obviously, (Interim coach) is a role I've never played before. So it's interesting how you approach a role like that when a coach suddenly leaves.
“We have to play Valerenga the next day so I think we have to go straight away. So there was a lot of learning for me, but it was full of joy. (I'm tired) Happiness, Unity is the players, It is very important for employees to do their best to create a light and interesting atmosphere. I love the time I get to act in between.”
