Leicester vs Fulham: Preview, Predictions and Lineups

Leicester City are aiming to end their six-game losing streak in the Premier League on Saturday when they host Fulham at the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes suffered another miserable defeat against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night, with their sloppiness punished by their clinical opponents. The pressure is already mounting on new manager Ruud van Nistelrooy, who has overseen just a single Premier League win after a fortuitous 3-1 victory over West Ham United on his debut.

Fulham can push Leicester further into crisis on Saturday, although they suffered their first defeat since late November when they travel to West Ham on Tuesday. Alex Iwobi's locker could not earn the Cottagers a point as they stumbled to a 3-2 defeat during Graham Potter's first league game in charge of the Irons.

Here it is 90 minutes guide to Leicester vs. Fulham.

Leicester had a stripped down squad at the start of the season and injuries have only made their problems worse. Abdul Fatawu's ACL tear at the end of the season has left them struggling for creativity, while the absence of the influential Mads Hermansen between the sticks has proved costly.

The goalkeeper remains absent for Saturday and Jakub Stolarczyk will continue to guard the net. Wilfred Ndidi is unavailable in midfield and Ricardo Pereira is missing at right-back, both players who could add real quality to Leicester's squad.

Leicester predicted formation against Fulham (4-2-3-1): Stolarczyk; Justin, Faes, Vestergaard, Kristiansen; Soumare, Winks; Buonanotte, El Khannous, Mavididi; Vardy.

Fulham could welcome back Sander Berge to their matchday squad for Saturday's trip to the East Midlands, with the midfielder out since before Christmas with an ankle injury. He may appear in some capacity in King Power.

However, Reiss Nelson will not be part of the traveling party. He remains sidelined with a thigh injury and joins Kenny Tete in the treatment room, with the latter unlikely to return until the end of March. This means Timothy Castagne will line up at right-back against his former club.

Fulham predicted formation against Leicester (4-2-3-1): Leno; Castagne, Andersen, Bassey, Robinson; Lukic, Pereira; Wilson, Smith Rowe, Iwobi; Jimenez.

Leicester certainly created chances against Palace in midweek but lacked the ruthlessness to take them. Despite boasting an xG number of 1.7, they drew a gap and their struggles in the final third have been a consistent issue this season.

The Foxes are also suspect defensively, having conceded two or more in 11 of their previous 12 games. Fulham aren't the division's most prolific goalscorers, but they'll relish their chances of picking off Leicester's back line on more than one occasion.

Prediction: Leicester 1-2 Fulham
