Real Madrid are looking for a third straight La Liga win on Sunday afternoon when they welcome Las Palmas to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Los Blancos have been busy since returning from the winter break, splitting their time between La Liga, Copa del Rey and Supercopa de Espana action. The latter saw them travel to Saudi Arabia looking for silverware, but a bruised the 5-2 loss to Classic Barcelona's rivals in the final has left a sour taste at the beginning of the new year.
Madrid got back to winning ways against Celta Vigo on Thursday night, albeit unconvincingly. They needed extra time to win one 5-2 win in the King's Cupwith the oft-criticized Endrick playing as they reached the quarter-finals.
Sunday sees them continue their defense of their La Liga title as they face a visit from Las Palmas. The Canary Islands side are currently in the bottom half of the table and have lost both of their matches in 2025, with Madrid keen to capitalize and keep pace with neighbors Atletico Madrid in the title race.

Madrid will be without winger Vinicius Junior on Sunday through suspension, with the Brazilian ruled out of Madrid's opening La Liga game of the calendar year against Valencia. Luka Modric is also serving a one-match ban after picking up five yellow cards.
Carlo Ancelotti will make changes from the side that endured a grueling 120 minutes against Celta Vigo in midweek and left-back Fran Garcia could be unavailable for selection after picking up an injury in the Copa del Rey triumph.
Eduardo Camavinga is another new name in the treatment room with a thigh problem, while Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao are out for the season.
Real Madrid predicted the formation against Las Palmas (4-2-3-1): Courtois; Vazquez, Asencio, Rudiger, Mendy; Valverde, Tchouameni; Rodrygo, Bellingham, Diaz; Mbappe.
Viti and Daley Sinkgraven will both miss Sunday's affair and Las Palmas manager Diego Martinez will also be without Dario Essugo, with the midfielder suspended after picking up five La Liga bookings.
Jose Campana and Marvin Park may miss the trip but have not been ruled out for good.
Surprisingly, two Scotland internationals could feature for Los Amarillos at the Bernabeu, with Oliver McBurnie and Scott McKenna both representing the club.
Las Palmas predicted formation against Real Madrid (4-2-3-1): Cillessen; Herzog, Suarez, McKenna, Marmol; Loiodice, Rodriguez; Januzaj, Munoz, Moleiro; Silva.
Madrid have been far from convincing for most of the campaign, but they should have more than enough firepower to conquer Las Palmas. Despite the absence of Vinicius, Kylian Mbappe, Rodrygo and Jude Bellingham should carry the goalscoring and creative burden with ease at the Bernabeu.
Las Palmas secured a shock win away to Barcelona earlier this season but look unlikely to repeat their heroics on Sunday. They are one of the bottom half's best goalscorers and will relish their chances of breaking down Madrid's defence, but their problems at the back mean they are likely to be well beaten in the capital.
