What Rohit Sharma and Ajit Agarkar did about the new rules
Chief selector of the Indian cricket team Ajit Agarkar He is the captain of the Indian team Rohit Sharma he recently made his first public appearance since the guidelines were issued by the BCCI. When asked for their views on the new rules, two Indian cricket experts gave surprising comments that highlighted the reality of the new rules.
“Who told you these rules? Is it from a working environment? Come, let's talk,” Rohit said, he seemed to be annoyed by the reporter who asked him about the new guidelines in the press conference.
Agarkar's reaction was also not good and it also shocked the cricket community. “I think that every team has its own rules. We've talked about different things that you've seen over the last few months where we can do better as a team and be a little closer as a team. We have seen in the last few months that there is a need for change, more cooperation with the team,” The old Indian pacer said.
However, he said that it is not like a school punishment for the players and the rules should be limited in the team because these players are great in their own right.
“It's not school, it's not punishment. It's just that you have rules and when you play for the national team you follow the rules. These are mature people. They are individual experts in international sports. They know how to take care of themselves,” Agarkar added.
The Indian team is ready to play with them England in five T20I matches and three ODI matches from January 22 before traveling to the UAE to play their Champions Trophy 2025 match.
