Harry Fry's Altobelli will be popular after staying strong to finish third behind Mirabad at Doncaster and provided he does not bounce; it rates the player both ways with added cheeks for the first time.

Kamsinas and Doddiethegreat are worth mentioning outdoors.

1.40 Ascot – Kargese makes a seasonal reappearance

All eyes will be on Willie Mullins' classy mare Kargeses while making a seasonal reappearance in the Grade 2 Mares' Hurdle.

Winner of the Grade 1 Four Year Old Hurdle at the Punchestown Festival, hopes are high and she should take this before going up in class. Her trainer mentioned the Mares' Hurdle at Cheltenham as a long-term plan.

Don't risk it leading the dangers for Dan Skelton and Kielan Woods. A winner in Listed company at Wetherby back in November, she finished a solid third in a handicap group at Cheltenham last month and a repeat of that would bring her money.

Triumph Hurdle contender Cooking starred on his only previous appearance at Auteuil and makes Nicky Henderson's first time on British soil in the BetMGM Juvenile Hurdle. Vianny may pose a danger to the combination of Derham and Burke, doc World Man first start over the hurdles for Josh and Gary Moore.

Grand National fifth Kitty's Light features in addition to Anns and Unanswered prayers in the BetMGM Handicap Chase at 13:05 before Hitman and Martyr to face in bet365 Handicap Chase.
