Manchester United beat Southampton 3-1 on Thursday night and will play against Brighton this afternoon.
Ruben Amorim's men struggled in several contests against the Premier League's bottom club, but Amad Diallo's late hat-trick earned them a flattering 3-1 win.
The win saw them move up to 13th in the table and they will need another three points this afternoon to jump up to 11th.
But Brighton will mount a tough challenge.
Fabian Hurzeler's team may not be at their best at the moment, but they have achieved results in 5 consecutive league games without defeat and have found strength.
