Suresh Raina's thoughts: India's biggest miss
Raina strongly believed that the removal of Suryakumar Yadav from the group of Champions Trophy 2025 is very difficult for India. Raina highlighted Suryakumar's exceptional batting skills, describing him as someone who can score quickly and turn games around. Suryakumar's ability to play unconventional shots, adapt to different situations of the game, and create breakthroughs with his batting will undoubtedly not be missed. Raina also highlighted the difficulties India are facing due to Suryakumar's absence, especially in the higher order.
“Surya was in the team of the World Cup, he is a 360 player who can hit 9 runs in every phase of the game. He can control the opposition with the bat in a different way,. Had Surya been there, he would have been the X-factor; he would have missed it. The position will now be above 3, which is not in the form. Surya is a man who can bat at any positionRaina said at the Star Sports Press Room.
