Orlando Magic guard Cole Anthony Recently, there has been a resurgence in his performance. Against the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday, Anthony led the team with 27 points on 64.7 percent shooting in the Magic's 104-99 victory. After the victory, the guard talked about how he got his mojo back.
The Magical The 2024-25 NBA season was marked by injuries. The Wagner brothers are out, while Mo is out for the rest of the season with an ACL injury. The team also has six players on the injury report as game-time decisions ahead of Wednesday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
It would be a blessing in disguise to have everyone on the team back as injured players piled up in the medical room throughout the year. Fortunately for Orlando, Anthony has stepped up in the last few games.

After their win against the Sixers, Anthony gave a romantic explanation of how he found his groove.
“I'm glad I saw that ball go to the hoop a few times, it felt good,” Anthony said. “Me and the old girl have had some beef lately. I'm glad we squashed the beef and worked out our differences and got back into a loving, caring relationship.
“You see with women sometimes you have to be nice to them. I couldn't be nice enough to Mrs. Wilson. I started trying to be nicer to her and she started to reciprocate my feelings.”
Cole Anthony has been the starting point guard for the past five games Jalen Suggs dealt with the back issue. During that span, the high-flying guard averaged 18.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists on 45.5 percent shooting from the field.
How has Cole Anthony fared for the Magic this season?
Cole Anthony has struggled to help the Magic this season. Although he is the team's starting player off the bench, he has not performed well this year. He played 38 games, averaging 7.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists while shooting 40 percent from the field.
He's struggled to be a consistent scorer since the season started, as he's also shooting below 30 percent from deep. Anthony's 3-point shooting is a far cry from his 33 percent shooting last season.
His best game came on Dec. 21 in a 121-114 win over the Orlando Magic.
The point guard came off the bench and shot 52% from the field with 35 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists.
