Marseille coach Roberto De Zerbi lashed out at the officials again after Sunday's 1-1 draw with Strasbourg.
The French giants have lost more ground in the title race, slipping nine points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain, who are yet to lose a game this season.
De Xavi knew his side would not be able to drop many more points if they had the chance to catch Luis Enrique's side and could not help but express his frustration after the game.
He said: “Since I came to France, I have always seen things that I don't understand and that have nothing to do with OM. Maybe because I'm Italian… I came to OM because it's the biggest French club.
“I respect everyone, but media people should stand up sometimes.
“Have you looked at the statistics of this match? yes We deserved to win. We are ahead in many areas; We had three or four times the expected goals in Strasbourg.
“But it was enough to win. Like the game against Lille on Tuesday.I didn't get what I deserved. I see teams that win every game doing a lot better than us.”
De Zerbi's Marseille have been on the receiving end of some poor decisions from the referees this season, which has seen them lose ground in the title race as a result.
Like Mourinho in Turkey, the former Brighton boss is furious that there has been no uproar over the standard of appointment.
But De Zerbi finally admitted they can't make excuses and his players have to learn to finish games.
He said: “It's a shame it happened at such a crucial time of the season. We still have seven injured players and the players are playing well but there is fatigue. One of my favorite players, Neal, played the last three games in a row.
“Greenwood doesn't play that many games in a row. Cornelius did not play in his usual position as Lirola did not feel he could play 90 minutes. Murillo, Kondogbia, Rongier, Wahi, Harit, That's a lot. We have to deal with it, not use it as an excuse.”
