Manchester City have signed defender Abdukodir Khusanov from French club Lens on a four-and-a-half-year contract.
The 20-year-old arrived for a fee of €40m (£33.8m) plus add-ons, becoming the first player from Uzbekistan to join the Premier League club.

He said: “I am very happy to be joining Manchester City, a team I have watched and enjoyed for a long time.
“This team is full of the best players in the world and I can't wait to meet them and play with them.
“Of course Pep Guardiola is one of the greatest coaches and I am very excited to learn from him and improve my game.
“I am very proud of myself and my family to join such a great club as Manchester City,” he said. I am ready for this challenge.”
City's director of football, Txiki Begiristain, said: “We are delighted that he has joined us and we are all very excited about what he will bring.
“For such a young defender, Abdukodir is very intelligent and strong, aggressive and very fast.”
