Curtis Jones has risked angering Liverpool fans by suggesting that former Chelsea star Eden Hazard is a better footballer than current team-mate Mohamed Salah.
Salah is having one of the great seasons of all time, scoring incredible numbers as Liverpool lead both the Premier League and the Champions League.
But Jones admitted he grew up watching Hazard and enjoyed watching the Belgian more, even if he also admitted Salah is the player he would prefer to have in his team.
“I know we compare him to Mo all the time and I've got him with Mo. I play him from who I watched as a kid when I loved the game and wanted to be like a player. I love it was risk. Every game, I would watch it… 'wow, this is football.'

Even with this clarification, Jones was criticized by Liverpool fans on social networks to talk so much about someone else in a direct comparison with his colleague. The 23-year-old continued to post X himself, underscoring the statement that he would still prefer to play with Salah.
