A massive security breach has been reported near the Indian dressing room ahead of the first T20I against the England national cricket team. According to reports in RaySportz, it is learned that one of the fans was trapped in the ground near the dressing room just before the team reached the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Reports claim that the security breach took place on Tuesday (January 22) when the Indian national cricket team players and support staff arrived at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata for the training session. This comes ahead of the first T20I between India and the England national cricket team.
The BCCI security member identifies the fan in the ground and throws it out when the team reaches the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
It was learned that while the players and support staff were entering the dressing room, a member of BCCI security identified the fan inside the ground near the dressing room and threw it out. However, fortunately for the players and staff, it was not a serious breach as it could have jeopardized the first game of the series.
The first match of the five-match T20I series between the Men In Blue and the England National Cricket Team is all set to take place on Wednesday (January 22). The series opener between the teams is all set to be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
