Dwyane Wade's wife Gabrielle Union shares a heartwarming message about family time


Since retiring in 2019, Dwyane Wade has more time than ever to share with his family after 16 years in the NBA. Wade is married to Gabrielle Union and the couple has been together since 2019. They went public with their relationship in 2010 and married four years later in 2014.

On Monday afternoon, Union shared a post on Instagram with her husband and children thanking her for the time she spent with her family.

“Reminder: Count the blessings, cherish the moments, love the ones that make it all worthwhile,” Union captioned her post alongside photos of her and Wade at a recent wine tasting event.

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union have one child together, daughter Kaavia Wade, and Wade has two children with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches; Zaya and Zaire Wade. He is also the father of his son Xavier and the guardian of his nephew Dahveon Morris. Union is the stepmother to Wade's children from previous relationships.

Dwyane Wade is celebrating his 43rd birthday

Dwyane Wade celebrated his 43rd birthday on January 17th and received many birthday wishes from family and friends. Union used his Instagram account to congratulate his wife on her birthday.

Union's post shows the evolution of Wade's early childhood photos. He also wrote heartfelt words:

“Being at the forefront of your evolution as a man, husband, father, businessman, friend, commentator, public speaker, Oscar-nominated producer, podcast host, team owner, and even a neighbor was nothing short of amazing. The rise is your self-awareness, sensitivity Your ability to be, your natural laugh and smile will be shown by your dogged determination to protect the rights of the marginalized.”

He continued the speech of unity:

“You are what many claim to be. You are a 1 of 1 baby. Like you said last week when your family froze when it was time to evacuate, 'TIME TO GO!' You are our lovely handsome leader and this is YOUR TIME, happy 43rd birthday BayBeeeeeee.”

Wade transitioned to a leader off the court after a Hall of Fame basketball career. He was recently honored with a statue in front of the Miami Heat's home arena, the Kaseya Center.
